Scorching Summer & Musk Melon

This Summer 🌞 is Election Summer and everyone is getting high and num. Television studios are filled with political editors, commentators, psephologists and our very own intellectuals. The world is watching the biggest show of democracy with great curiosity I must say.

George Soros , the BBC , Al-Jazeera and many others are watching the elections of India 2024 with greater scepticism I must say. They are all so concerned about India's Institutions , democracy and free & fair election component that I myself fail to consider. But I am a very informed, well educated Indian who trust the foundations of my nation. I am watching the Judiciary, the bureaucracy ( need to be sharpened and reformed , I must admit ) . I am watching the Parliamentary discourse which is extremely good ( if walk outs are necessary, bunch do find some political indulgence in it , nothing wrong I must say. But filing notice for discussions and then the walk outs and then posing in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi is a little bit of Shakespearean Drama, Unbecoming of the Opposition )

I am also watching the media, the Godi Media who are charged to be well adjusted in the Government's Lap to the ones who find themselves in Government's Laat. I guess they didn't quite well negotiated the frequency of Exclusives , breaking news and TRP's and stuff with the Government & Losers cry a lot.....kheensiyani beelli khamba nochey types.

And I am watching my fellow countrymen who loves freedom, peace, better prospects in life and a peaceful day during the casting of the ballot.

A Musk Melon 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂, that would be awesome.

China India Tango

After months of small shows.The time of a big show has finally struck between the relationship of the 2 fastest growing economies who are also close door neighbours. India and China has again locked horns on the issue of nomenclature of some 30 regions which the Chinese contest as part of their territory and are currently in Arunachal Pradesh of the Indian side of her territory. China seems to be a more aggressive partner to the tango while India maintaining a much more balanced posture to the tango. I heard the spokesperson of the Chinese Defence Ministry saying where does Arunachal Pradesh comes from? Well we now know where the recent nomenclatures are coming from?  Well so far the fight is limited to hand to hand and some has been very deadly I must say. On the ground it's peace from both sides.  The MEA is headed by Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar also known as S.Jaishankar. He is very intelligent and well read. He has authored two books while being the foreign minister 1) Why India Matters and the second one is 2) Why Bharat Matters. Both are a good read and reflections of MEA S. Jaishankar. His decision of importing Russian oil during the Ukraine War highlights governments concern for India 's Energy Security. Then showing the mirror to Europe was far overdue. He outlined India's need to be non-aligned and devoid of external pressures and that's how QUAD came into force. He reiterated that India has its own view of the world and India will pursue that goal no matter how much is the resistance to do so.
