Toothbrush Diaries

This is about Godi Media, the lap media as coined by none other than our great the Ravish Kumar, Magsaysay award winner, the legendary studio to gutters reporter. Actually speaking this is about the opposite of the lap media.

Today I am going to talk about Ravish Kumar, the torch bearer of the so called truth. His truths are concoctions of the famous heckler, interruptions, distortions and pseudo secularism. When he is presented with facts , he starts heckling the guest.

I prefer to call it the ' Desi Daaru ' media because they are always doping an agenda. Now this Sherry media claims to be on a higher ground while talking about the quality of media in India. Jyaa taatat khalla...tyaa taatatach ? This the the Marathi idiom I would like to quote for this media.

Then there are selected few intellectuals presented as guests for the Sherry Show and goes the press freedom, the institutions being abused, the Judiciary interfered with an so on and so forth.

There are people in the upper strata of power and bureaucracy, those who think the nation especially India is always run by a family and no one outside the family. Gone are the days when the status quo was exactly the one I mentioned above.

The Sherries alongwith the Status quo and with the Neo liberals were the order of the past. They are still present today. But the difference is that they are in company of the Nationalists.

That is the moot point of the present discomfort. Yes indeed there's death of democracy but the death is somewhere behind the Parliamentary walls.
